If we actually educated our youth on sex and encouraged them to explore themselves when they’re ready and feel comfortable and allowed an open educational conversation then they wouldn’t be as sexually frustrated looking for the fastest nearest faucet to relieve themselves. These teenagers should not face charges and depending on the nature of the relationship neither should the adult. And now the horny hs are being able to meet with the horny adult population. The only difference is now there’s apps that grown ass adults are on as well. Obviously kids shouldn’t be having sex but teenagers? Really? Like all of you weren’t sex crazed highschoolers at some point. A freshman girl in my hs sucked up 3 seniors in a bathroom. And don’t say the whole omg you can’t promote teenagers having sex like we’re not doing it anyway. It’s not their fault that for some damn reason they cannot consent to sex under the age of 18 regardless of who they’re sleeping with. First these teenagers aren’t trying to make older men commit crimes. Overall, though, I’m just glad I really don’t find guys that young attractive, and never turned into a twink-chaser.

Maybe the kid was under 18! Very possible!īut if I was actually 18 and someone asked me to send a picture of my license (other shit blacked out or not), I’d probably be pretty sketched out. Nobody asked for me to send a picture of it, and I doubt I would’ve (although the teens-on-hookup-sites issue feels like it was less common back in the noughties). Still, nobody asked me to send a picture of it, they always asked for it in person (I vaguely recall someone saying so in advance when I was ~23 or 24), or strategically suggested we meet for a drink, etc., someplace where my ID would be checked without them needing to ask for it themselves. More on topic: I have had guys ask for my ID when I was markedly younger, and it didn’t bother me very much.
I get I look young – maybe I can pass for 25/26 – but I find that shit weird. I usually just laugh, ask if they’re serious, if they say yes I just stop responding. Tangentially related, I’ve had people do this to me, last one was last year.
